From Salzburg (Munich, Villach) – A1 motorway exit Thalgau (21 km) and from Vienna (Linz) – Auto A1 motorway exit Mondsee (15 km) to St. Gilgen.

As you come into St Gilgen carry on straight ahead at the roundabout and head in the direction of Bad Ischl. After about 400m take the “Zentrum” turning (directly by the cable car station) into Weberstraße and the St. Gilgener Geschenktruhe is at the end of this street.
